The Formula for Temperature Conversion
We employ conversion formulas that are similar to those found in most textbooks.

Add 32 and multiply by.5556 (or 5/9) to convert temperatures from degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius.

For instance: (50°F - 32) x.5556 = 10°C
Add 32 and multiply by 1.8 (or 9/5) to convert temperatures from degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Examples include: (30°C x 1.8) + 32 Equals 86°F'.
These are two useful charts that convert between the two letter codes, F and C.
